日本語話者がつまずきやすいポイント
注意
different withは日本語の「〜と違う」から、interesting inは-ingと-edの取り違えから生まれる、日本語を話す人によくある間違いです。「私が興味を持っている」ならinterested in、「〜と違う」ならdifferent fromです。また、前置詞の後ろに不定詞は来ません。I am interested in to learnは誤りで、正しくはin learningです。

多くの形容詞は決まった前置詞を伴います。good at, bad at, interested in, afraid of, proud of, tired of, famous for, responsible for, similar to, different from, married to, keen on, worried about, sorry about/for, full of, aware of。
名詞も同じです。a reason for, an increase in, a solution to, an answer to, a reply to, the difference between, an example of, a demand for, the effect on。
日本語の言い方は、ときに間違った前置詞へ誘います。「〜と違う」からはdifferent withが出てきやすいのですが、正しくはdifferent from（イギリス英語）かdifferent than（アメリカ英語）です。「〜と結婚している」はmarried withではなくmarried to。「〜に興味がある」はinterested inで、「質問の答え」はthe answer ofではなくthe answer toです。
