中文母语者最容易踩的坑
注意
这里的错误几乎只有一个方向:觉得将来的事一定要有 will,于是把“火车按时刻表六点四十开”译成 The train will leave at 6.40。这不算严重的错,但不自然;时刻表上的时间,英语用一般现在时。

由时刻表、节目单或课程表规定的将来的事,用一般现在时:The train leaves at 6.40。不是因为它现在正在发生,而是因为它不取决于某个可能改变主意的人。
这和进行时的区别正在于此:I am leaving at 6.40 是我的计划,The train leaves at 6.40 是时刻表。同一个时间,两个“决定者”。
这一点中国学习者其实有优势:中文说“火车六点四十开”“电影八点开始”,本来就不加“会”或“将”。只要别因为“这是将来的事”而硬加 will 就行。还要记住主语是第三人称单数时动词加 -s:the train leaves,the film starts。
