interested about、proud for、good in——每一个都是照着汉语的“对”“为”“在……方面”选的介词。另外，介词后面不能跟不定式：I am interested in to learn 是错的，正确的是 in learning。

很多形容词带着固定的介词：good at, bad at, interested in, afraid of, proud of, tired of, famous for, responsible for, similar to, different from, married to, keen on, worried about, sorry about/for, full of, aware of。
名词也一样：a reason for, an increase in, a solution to, an answer to, a reply to, the difference between, an example of, a demand for, the effect on。
汉语的说法常常会把你引到错误的介词上：“对……感兴趣”让人想到 interested about，正确的是 interested in；“为……骄傲”让人想到 proud for，正确的是 proud of；“和……不同”是 different from（英式）或 different than（美式）；“问题的答案”是 the answer to，不是 the answer of。
