中文母语者最容易踩的坑

中文“他跟我说……”“他对我说……”里，“我”紧跟在动词附近，于是很多人写出 He said me that…。英语的规则纯粹是形式上的：tell 直接加人，say 不加人。拿不准的时候，看看动词后面是不是紧跟着 me、him、us 这样的词——如果是，就必须用 tell。

间接引语转述别人说过的内容，但不照搬原话。它由一个表示“说”的动词引出，后面通常接 that，that 也可以省略。
最关键的区别在 say 和 tell 之间。中文“说”和“告诉”的分工其实很像：“他告诉我……”后面要有人，“他说……”后面不用人。英语也是这样：tell 后面一定要有人——He told me that…；say 后面不接人，或者用 to 连接——He said that…、He said to me that…。He told that… 和 He said me… 都是错的。
去掉引号以后，前面的逗号也一起去掉，从句保持普通陈述句的语序。还要注意人称的变化：英语口语里 he 和 she 听起来完全不同，不像中文的“他”和“她”都读 tā，所以转述时一定要选对。
