Lo que tiene de especial este verbo

  • Ortografía especial con -ed (consonante doble, -ied, -cked): preferred. → El Simple Past
  • Ortografía especial con -ing (se pierde la e muda, se dobla la consonante, -ie pasa a -y): preferring. → El Present Progressive
  • Verbo de estado: normalmente no se usa en forma continua; se dice prefer, no la forma en -ing. → Verbos sin forma continua
  • De la lista de palabras: prefer A to B, no prefer A than B.
