Der Umzug
Moving house on a Saturday, with too few hands and a helpful neighbour.
The first text in the past. Spoken German tells stories in the perfect tense — sie haben mir geholfen, wir haben angefangen —, and verbs of movement take sein: ich bin umgezogen. The participle goes to the end of the sentence.
