Ein Sonntag im Park
A family spends a sunny Sunday in the park — until the weather turns.
A day out, told in the present. Two small things to notice: German says um eins for one o’clock, and werden means to become — es wird kalt, it gets cold.
Am Sonntag scheint die Sonne. Familie Berg geht in den Park. Der Park ist groß und grün.
Die Kinder spielen mit dem Hund. Der Vater liest eine Zeitung. Die Mutter schläft ein bisschen in der Sonne.
Um eins essen sie Brot, Käse und Obst. Der Hund bekommt auch ein Stück Brot.
Am Nachmittag wird es kalt, und der Himmel ist grau. Sie gehen schnell nach Hause. Zu Hause trinken alle einen heißen Tee.
