Sources and rights
All texts, explanations, exercises and example sentences on this site were written for it. Opening a page loads only files from this server, no third-party services.
Levels
Level names such as A1 to C2 sort the topics by difficulty; the descriptions and the assignment of topics are this project’s own, not a reproduction of official texts. The level shown here is a self-assessment, not a certificate.
Typefaces
IBM Plex Sans and Literata are licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 and served from this server. Licence texts: IBM Plex Sans · Literata.
Images
Muno, the backgrounds and the tool pictures were created with AI for this project; the icons are our own drawings.
World map
The maps on the “About the language” pages are drawn from the outlines of Natural Earth (version 5.1.2, public domain, naturalearthdata.com), strongly simplified and without any judgement on borders. Which countries are highlighted is our own selection by official and majority languages; it gives no speaker numbers.
Read-aloud
The speaker button uses your browser’s built-in speech output. Depending on the device it works locally or sends that one sentence to the manufacturer’s service — so nothing is read aloud unless you press it.
Report a mistake
If you spot a mistake, please write to the address in the legal notice, giving the topic and the sentence.
