A common trap

Wrong Ich habe zwanzig Jahre alt.

Right Ich bin zwanzig Jahre alt.

Age takes sein in German and English and haben in French, Spanish and Italian, so this one usually arrives from a third language rather than from English. The English-speaking version of the same confusion is the other way round: Ich bin Hunger for Ich habe Hunger — German says you have hunger, where English says you are hungry.
