The Suitcase That Went the Wrong Way
La maleta de Tom no llega, y ha hecho su propio viaje.
Una historia de vacaciones en Simple Past. Fíjate en todo lo que le falta a Tom y en cómo se las arregla. La notita amarilla del final es una broma.
Tom flew to the coast for a week by the sea. The flight was short and quiet. But at the airport, his suitcase did not come. Everybody took their bags and left. Tom stood there alone.
He went to a small office. A young woman wrote down his name and the name of his hotel. "Your suitcase is probably on the next plane," she said. "We can bring it to your hotel tomorrow."
That evening Tom had no clothes, no toothbrush and nothing for the beach. He bought a shirt and a toothbrush in a shop near the hotel. Then he sat on the beach and watched the sun go down.
The next morning, somebody knocked on his door. A man stood there with Tom’s suitcase. On it was a small yellow note: "Sorry! I went to the mountains by mistake." Tom laughed and went to the beach.
Tom went to the sea for a week. He took a plane. At the airport, his big bag did not come. All the other people took their bags and went home. Tom was alone.
He went to a small desk at the airport. A young woman wrote his name on a card. "We can bring it to your hotel tomorrow," she said.
In the evening, Tom had no clothes. He bought a shirt and a toothbrush. Then he sat on the beach and looked at the sea.
The next morning, a man came with the big bag. On it was a small yellow card: "Sorry! I went to the mountains. That was wrong." Tom laughed and went to the beach.
