How this list is made
We counted how often the forms of each verb appear in the sentences of this course — in word lists, grammar topics and reading texts. A form that could belong to two verbs, or is usually a different word, does not count. The list holds the 250 verbs with the most occurrences that also have at least two example sentences here. The forms are not copied but calculated, twice: once from endings and rules, once from the principal parts. A page is only built when both calculations agree on every single form.
The forms are calculated from the rules of the language — twice, in two independent ways — and checked against every hand-written form in this course. The example sentences are the course’s own.
