This is the category that most obviously runs the whole way up the levels. Traurig is A1 and everybody learns it; wehmütig, gekränkt and zerknirscht say what it actually was, and nobody reaches them by accident. The same holds for describing a person: an A2 list gives you nett, and the B1 one gives you the words that make a description worth listening to.
