El final de la comida es lo que más cambia de un país a otro, y el español lo dice de tres maneras. To go halves es pagar a medias cuando son dos; entre varios se dice «a escote», y en tono coloquial «a pachas». El inglés tiene además to split the bill para lo mismo. Y ojo con la propina: si la cuenta pone service included o una gratuity ya calculada, no se añade nada más — cosa que en España casi nunca ocurre.
