A Rainy Day
No umbrella, a heavy shower and a friend who has two.
The simple past with intransitive verbs (गया, आई, रुकी) and the particle ने with transitive ones (उसने कहा). Short sentences make it easy to see which verbs take ने.
कल सुबह मौसम अच्छा था। इसलिए अजय छाता नहीं ले गया।
दोपहर में आसमान में काले बादल आए। स्कूल के बाद तेज़ बारिश हुई।
अजय स्कूल के दरवाज़े पर रुका। बारिश नहीं रुकी। हवा ठंडी थी।
तभी उसकी दोस्त नेहा आई। नेहा के पास दो छाते थे। उसने कहा, "यह लो। कल मुझे दे देना।"
अजय ने नेहा को धन्यवाद कहा और घर गया। आज वह अपना छाता लेकर आया है।
