My Family
A girl introduces her family, one person at a time.
Family words and the possessive मेरा, मेरी, मेरे, which agree with the person who is owned, not with the owner. Notice मेरे पिता जी: respect makes the possessive plural.
मेरा नाम आशा है। मैं दस साल की हूँ। मेरे परिवार में पाँच लोग हैं।
मेरे पिता जी बैंक में काम करते हैं। वे सुबह आठ बजे घर से जाते हैं और शाम को लौटते हैं।
मेरी माँ एक स्कूल में बच्चों को पढ़ना और लिखना सिखाती हैं।
मेरा एक बड़ा भाई है। उसका नाम अमित है। वह बहुत तेज़ दौड़ता है। मेरी दादी भी हमारे साथ रहती हैं।
रात को हम सब साथ में खाना खाते हैं। मेरा परिवार बहुत प्यारा है।
