Obras e bricolage em inglês

Ferramentas, materiais e o telefonema ao canalizador.

A palavra due aparece aqui em the next inspection is due in May e vale a pena vê-la inteira, porque faz três coisas. Sozinha quer dizer «previsto para» ou «que se vence»: the rent is due on the first, a renda vence-se no dia um. Com to quer dizer «devido a», por causa de: the delay was due to the weather. E in due course é uma fórmula fixa: a seu tempo. Nada disto se traduz por uma palavra só, e as três aparecem em cartas e faturas.
