Companies, markets and the words a German business page uses.

This is the vocabulary of the business pages and of a company meeting. Two structural terms are worth knowing because they have no close English equivalent. A German joint-stock company has two boards rather than one: der Vorstand runs it and der Aufsichtsrat supervises them, and half the supervisory board of a large firm is elected by the workforce. Everything on this page describes how the vocabulary is used; none of it is a judgement about any company or market.
