Polish for travelling

Station, hotel, old town and mountains: Polish that helps at once on a trip through Poland — from the ticket to the souvenir.

33 sentences · 2 dialogues · 16 words

Why this field

In the big cities you can often get by in English. But on the train, in a small guesthouse in the mountains or at a kiosk by the sea, a few Polish sentences open doors — and people are visibly pleased that you tried.

The situations repeat themselves: asking, travelling, arriving, paying, saying thank you. With proszę, dziękuję, przepraszam and the question Gdzie jest …? you get through the first day.
