What holds these lists together

The lists for the time that is your own: on the beach, at the campsite, at a party, in training, and further on the slopes, on the water and at the chessboard. They belong together because they share a situation — you are among people who are not going to slow down for you, and the words come fast and in passing. Many look English and lead a French life of their own. Le camping is the site as well as the activity, so on dort au camping; la location is a hire, as in location de vélos; and on the beach la serviette is a towel.
