What holds these lists together

The same situation at three distances: the job that is ending, the contract that is failing and the proceedings in which both end up. For the first time the word is not the problem, the thing behind it is, because Italian law is written in codes and its professions are cut differently. There is no split between barrister and solicitor: l’avvocato advises and pleads. And il notaio is not a notary public who mainly certifies signatures but a public official who drafts and authenticates property sales and company deeds. These are words nobody picks up in conversation and everybody needs in writing.
