Happy and sad, angry and afraid, laughing and crying, and liking something.
Hindi often lets a feeling come to you rather than having you do it: मुझे ग़ुस्सा आया, “anger came to me”; मुझे डर लगता है, “fear strikes me”; मुझे यह अच्छा लगता है, “this seems good to me”, which is the everyday way to say you like something. The person who feels stands with को — मुझे, उसे, आपको — and the verb agrees with the feeling or the thing liked.
