Words for what people are like: honest or stubborn, generous or lazy.

Most of these adjectives end in a consonant or in -ी and never change: मेहनती लड़का, मेहनती लड़की. Only those in -ा agree with the person: शर्मीला बेटा, शर्मीली बेटी. A whole character is often described with स्वभाव: वे गंभीर स्वभाव के हैं, “he is of a serious nature”.
