Behaviour and the mind in German

Attention, habit, stress and trust — the words for describing what people do and why.

These words describe behaviour and feeling; the page is not clinical advice and nothing on it diagnoses anybody. Two of them need care in translation. Der Stress was borrowed from English and behaves as a German noun, but die Belastung is the wider word and is what a German report actually uses. And empfindlich means sensitive in the sense of easily hurt or easily damaged, not perceptive.
