Das Fahrrad im Flur

A bicycle in the hallway, two notes on the wall and a house that finally talks.

Reported speech in writing: what the two notes said is passed on in the subjunctive I — das Fahrrad störe alle, im Keller sei kein Platz mehr. Notice also wem es gehört: gehören takes the dative, and so does the question word in front of it.
