常见陷阱

错误 Before, I live in Beijing, but now I live in Shanghai.

正确 I used to live in Beijing, but now I live in Shanghai.

中文“以前我住在北京，现在住在上海”里，“住”前后都没有变化，只靠“以前”和“现在”区分。直译成 Before, I live in Beijing，英语母语者会觉得时间是乱的。说过去的习惯或状态，用 used to：I used to live in Beijing。另外，used to 和 be used to 看起来几乎一样，意思却完全不同：I used to work here 是“我以前在这里工作”，I am used to working here 是“我已经习惯在这里工作了”。
