Um fim de semana em Coimbra
Marta takes the train to Coimbra for the weekend — and on Saturday it rains.
A short travel story in the present tense. Watch ficar for where something is (o hotel fica perto do rio) and the contractions no, numa, ao, do.
O hotel fica perto do rio.
No domingo, o sol volta. A Marta passeia no jardim e come peixe num restaurante. À noite, apanha o comboio para casa. Está cansada, mas contente.
