Living and the household in Spanish
Your own four walls and what stands in them.
In Spain people usually live in a piso, a flat in a block, and casa covers both the building and the idea of home. English keeps those apart with two words, and uses « home » with no article and often with no preposition: « I am going home ». Spanish does the same trick with one noun. After en, a and de the article disappears and casa means « home »: estoy en casa, voy a casa, vengo de casa. Put the article back and it is a particular building again.
