Clothes
What you put on and how you buy it.
There are two words for putting something on, and the difference is between the act and the state: ponerse is putting it on and llevar is having it on. English makes the same split with « put on » and « wear », so half of this comes free. What does not come free is the rest of llevar. The same verb means « to carry » — llevo las maletas — and « to take somebody somewhere » — te llevo a la estación. One Spanish verb covers three English ones, and only the sentence around it says which is meant.
