A common trap

Wrong Estudio en Madrid desde dos años.

Right Llevo dos años estudiando en Madrid.

For «I have been studying in Madrid for two years» «for» or «since» gets translated with desde: Estudio en Madrid desde dos años. That does not work before a length of time. The usual form is the construction with llevar: Llevo dos años estudiando en Madrid. Desde hace dos años is possible too; desde on its own only goes before a point in time: desde 2019.

soler, volver a: used to, again
