La capacidad de evacuación limita más que el recurso: the grid export capacity is more limiting than the resource. Export, not evacuation — and this is a false friend that sits in the middle of a technical sentence rather than at the edge of one. In Spanish grid language, la evacuación is the carrying away of the power a plant has generated: la línea de evacuación is the line that takes it to the substation, and evacuar there means no more than to get something out of a place. English keeps « evacuation » for people and buildings — a fire alarm, a flood — and for the clinical sense; power leaves a wind farm through an « export » or a « connection », and a reader who meets an « evacuation capacity » in a grid study will look for the emergency that is not there.
