Booking, checking in and out, passports, luggage and tickets.
Hotel and airport words are among the most fixed in Chinese, because they are printed on every sign and every booking. A hotel goes by three names that overlap — 酒店, 宾馆 and the plainer 旅馆 — and 酒店 has nothing to do with drink. Rooms are named by who sleeps in them: 单人间, 双人间. Many of these words are the formal ones of signs and announcements, like 到达 for 到.
