Silviculture

Silviculture is the only trade in which one person harvests what another planted, and its vocabulary is cut to that span. The word worth carrying away is la copa, hidden inside el incendio forestal de copas. In Spanish it is the crown of a tree and the crown of a hat, and English hands both of those to « crown » — the same word it gives to what a monarch wears, which in Spanish is never la copa but la corona. So a fire that runs overhead is « a crown fire », and what la espesura del dosel measures is how tightly those copas stand together.
