A common trap

Wrong Marco e alto.

Right Marco è alto.

The missing accent turns the verb into a conjunction. Marco e alto is Marco and tall, which is not a sentence; Marco è alto is Marco is tall. It is the commonest typing mistake in Italian and the only one that reliably destroys a whole sentence.
