Booking and checking in, passports and forms, flights, and complaining when the air conditioning does not work.
Two words for a journey are both everyday: यात्रा, a little more formal, and सफ़र. Hotel business mixes Hindi and English freely — बुकिंग, चेक इन करना, रिसेप्शन — and an English verb becomes Hindi with करना. Where you stay is ठहरना or रुकना: हम दो रात ठहरेंगे.
