Admission, syllabus, marks, scholarships, research and the words of a university.
School and university Hindi is mostly the formal, Sanskrit-based register: पाठ्यक्रम, छात्रवृत्ति, प्रयोगशाला, प्रमाणपत्र. These long words are built from parts you can learn once: छात्र (student) + वृत्ति (allowance), प्रयोग (experiment) + शाला (house). Students themselves mix in English freely: डिग्री, कोचिंग.
