The thirty-second entry is produits et services, and what is missing from it carries more than what is there. French does not string nouns together the way English does. Where we write « the officers and men » with one article doing duty for both, French puts a determiner in front of each: les officiers et les hommes, mon père et ma mère, la demande et le brevet. Dropping the second one is not a saving of ink; it is a statement. A single determiner welds two nouns into one notion, which is why les allées et venues, les us et coutumes and les frais et dépens carry only one between them, and why nobody reads those as two lists. So this entry, bare of any article whatever, tells a reader that in this corner of the law goods and services are a single heading rather than two: one specification, filed and paid for in one go. Write les produits et les services instead and the sentence has quietly pulled them apart into two things being spoken of separately.
