More about this list

In Turkey you reach the ambulance, fire brigade and police on the same number, 112. What happened is usually told with olmak or çıkmak: kaza oldu“there was an accident”yangın çıktı“a fire broke out” When something has been taken from you, the thing is the subject and the verb passive, as in English: cüzdanım çalındı “my wallet was stolen”.
