Worksheets for your lessons

Each of the 90 grammar topics has a sheet to print: a student version without answers and a teacher version with the answers right next to each item. No sign-up, no cost.

How to get a sheet

  1. In the grammar overview, choose the topic your class is working on.
  2. Below the exercise on the topic page you will find “Worksheet as PDF”. Choose version A or B, then “Student version” or “Teacher version with answers”.
  3. The PDF file (A4) downloads straight away. It is created in your browser; nothing is sent to us. Print it, or upload it to your school’s learning platform.

Tip: print at “Actual size” (100%). The logo, source and page number are already on every page. On Letter paper, choose “Fit to page”.

What is on a sheet

  • A header with the EveryLingua logo, name, class and date, the goal of the topic in one sentence, the time needed and a box for the score.
  • 15 to 30 items in up to five parts: choosing, filling gaps, finding mistakes, word order and translating — from recognising to writing freely, and from short to long sentences within each part. Enough for 15 to 30 minutes or one homework.
  • A worked example before the gap-fill, so that nobody gets stuck on the instructions.
  • A “done” box for each part and, at the end, a short self-check with room for a question — something for students to bring to the next lesson.
  • Versions A and B: the same kind of sheet with different items or in a different order, for two rows of desks, say. Student and teacher versions of the same letter always match.
  • Each part follows one fixed pattern. In “Fill the gap” every item has the base form of the word in brackets — or, where there is no safe base form (articles, particles, prepositions), all the missing words stand in a box above. Never both on one sheet.

What the teacher version adds

The answers are written straight into the gaps and under the items, in blue, bold and italic — easy to tell apart from the items even when printed in black and white. Above them is a box with the learning goal, the typical mistake for this topic, the signal words and the structure. Where several answers are correct, “e.g.” comes before the answer.

Why the sheets are built this way

  • Recall rather than re-read: producing a form from memory is known to make it stick longer than spending the same time reading it again.
  • Mixed item types: switching between recognising, filling in, correcting and writing forces a decision about which rule applies each time — exactly what a real sentence asks for.
  • An example first, then rising difficulty: a worked example takes the load off at the start, and the longer sentences at the end stretch.
  • A clear goal, parts to tick off and a self-check: seeing how far you have got helps you keep going. The print is black and white with one accent colour, no shaded areas, and generous writing lines.

Working with a class

Create a class on the account page – you need a free account for this – and give the code to your students. They join without an account, with just a nickname. You set assignments from the topics of this language, with a worksheet and a date if you like, and for each nickname you see how many topics are understood, the last day of learning, the streak and progress on the assignments – no email addresses, no leaderboard.

A Turkish class, level by level

The Turkish worksheets by level: how many each level has, and its first topics from different areas, in the order of the grammar overview. Each link opens the topic, and the worksheet is made on that page.

In school use, the school decides on the use and is responsible for it, including parental consent where needed. What is stored for this

What you may do with them

You may print, copy and hand out any worksheet to your students for your own teaching and as homework, including as a PDF on your school’s learning platform. You may not sell the sheets, republish them as a collection or in a work of your own, or remove the source or the logo.

There is deliberately no bulk download: each sheet is made on the page of its topic, from the exercises and examples on that page.
