More about this list
A Turkish adjective comes before the noun and never changes, just as in English: kırmızı elbise“red dress”kırmızı elbiseler“red dresses” The difference is where “a” goes: bir sits between the adjective and the noun, kırmızı bir elbise, “red a dress”. Lighter and darker shades take açık and koyu in front: açık mavi “light blue”. And for brown Turkish says “coffee colour”: kahverengi.
