Booking a pitch, putting the tent up, finding power and water.
English says « wood » three times over and Spanish never does. La leña is wood to burn; la madera is wood as a material, the plank and the table top; el bosque is the wood you walk in. Nothing joins them — the three are unrelated words, and none of them is the general one, because Spanish has no general one. So venden leña at the gate can only be firewood, and asking for madera on a campsite gets you a plank. The English habit of one word doing every job is what has to be unlearnt here, and this is a good place to notice it, because all three are common.
