A common trap

Wrong No dímelo ahora.

Right No me lo digas ahora.

With a negative imperative the pronouns stay behind: No dímelo. As soon as a no is in front, they move before the verb: No me lo digas. English keeps «tell me» and «don't tell me» in the same order, which is exactly why this feels arbitrary — but the negation turns the order round without exception.
