More about this list

English “wear” and “put on” become three verbs: nosić for what you usually wear (noszę okulary “I wear glasses”), zakładać for putting a garment on right now, and ubierać się for getting dressed in general. As in English, some words exist only in the plural: spodnie “trousers”, okulary “glasses”, dżinsy “jeans” — but Polish has no “pair of”, so “these trousers” is simply te spodnie. And a pocket is kieszeń, a bag torba.
