More about this list
To say more than one sentence after another you need the words in between. Some require a particular form: after żeby comes the past form, and the person ending attaches to the conjunction — żebym, żebyś, żebyśmy. The same goes for gdyby: Gdybyśmy mieli czas, pojechalibyśmy nad morze. “If we had time, we’d go to the seaside.” Powinien looks like an adjective but behaves like a verb: powinienem, powinnaś, powinniśmy. And dopiero is “only, not until” in time — not najpierw, which means “first”.
