More about this list

The key verb at any office is załatwić: Muszę załatwić kilka spraw. “I have a few things to sort out.” An application is “laid down” in Polish: złożyć wniosek. With tradespeople you ask about time with Na kiedy będzie gotowe? “When will it be ready?” and about the price with Ile to będzie kosztować? If you want to complain about goods, you make a reklamacja; the verb is reklamować — in this sense nothing to do with advertising.
