Personality
Forty words for what a person is like, from kind and honest to stubborn and cheeky.
Many of these are na-adjectives, and a few common ones are nouns that describe a person only through a phrase: someone is not simply "patient" but 我慢強い, strong in 我慢, and a dependable person has a strong 責任感. Watch the values behind the words, too. 真面目 is real praise in Japanese where "serious" in English can sound dull, and おとなしい, quiet and well-behaved, is a compliment for a child and faint praise for an adult.
