City life
Crowds, traffic jams, neighbourhoods, street vendors and what a city provides.
An Indian city is described in words from three sources side by side: Sanskrit-based official words (नगर निगम, सार्वजनिक, निर्माण), older everyday words (मोहल्ला, नुक्कड़, रौनक़) and English loans (फ़्लाईओवर, पार्किंग, ट्रैफ़िक जाम). All three are ordinary Hindi; the notice board uses the first, the conversation the other two.
