Small words that hold a sentence together
Very and a little, here and there, now and then, and, but and or.
These are the words that turn a list of nouns into a sentence. Two of them are worth watching from the first day: भी (“also”) and ही (“only, just”) stand directly after the word they belong to, so मैं भी is “me too” and आज ही “only today, this very day”. Adverbs usually come before the verb: मैं ज़रूर आऊँगा.
