Der Garten im Hof

A grey back yard, one neighbour’s idea and a house that gets to know itself.

A text about a group of people, and German has many words for parts of a group: man, manche, andere, jede Familie, ein paar Leute. Notice also sich kümmern um — a reflexive verb with a fixed preposition, best learned as one unit.
