From these 39 words, as many per round as you like — up to all of them: first what is due today, then new ones. First you choose, then you fill the gap, then you write it yourself. Mistakes come back again shortly.
More about this list
Month names are written with a small letter unless they are part of a date: mayısta “in May”, but 19 Mayıs. “In” is the locative again. Telling the time works from the full hour, as in English: “past” is geçe and wants the hour in the accusative (beşi on geçe “at ten past five”), “to” is kala with the dative (beşe on kala “at ten to five”). Without “at” — as the answer to “What time is it?” — they become geçiyor and var: Beşi on geçiyor. “It is ten past five.”
