Estar doente

Four days with a cold, from the chemist’s back to work.

The text whose words you hope never to need and always need first. Two things here are said differently in English: dói-lhe a cabeça — the head hurts her, and the verb agrees with the head, not with her. And estar com trinta e oito graus, because a fever is a state, not something you own.

A Sofia agradece e sai.
